Michael Weidrich is a Buffalo-born and raised professional artist, administrator, business development leader, and LGBTQ advocate. This Buffalo Academy for Visual & Performing Arts graduate is also a recipient of a BFA from Syracuse U, and MBA from St. Rose. His credentials lead him to juggle numerous hats.
He created digital artworks and advocated for the arts, while also embarking on business development for urban neighborhoods. He spent more than a decade in Central New York and another decade in the Capital District. He managed and directed Albany’s Lark Street Business Improvement District as well as the Capital Region’s Pride Center. He also founded First Fridays in Albany and helped galleries flourish in 50 different venues from the original 3. Weidrich currently serves as the Executive Director of the South Buffalo Community Association.
